That’s right! In true BostInno spirit, we have teamed up with Gazelle to throw the official gdgt Live Boston after party on Wednesday, September 22.

This is the first time gdgt Live has been to Boston, so we are doing our best to welcome them and show the gdgt team that this is the hottest city for innovation! gdgt After Dark will take place at the new W Hotel on Stuart Street, right next door to Royale — where the gdgt live event is taking place.

gdgt Live kicks off at 7:00pm and gdgt After Dark begins at 9:00pm.

This is not your typical after party; Gazelle has planned an old school gadget theme, and even a custom cocktail designed specifically for this event. Oh and of course there is a cash bar and plenty of hors d’oeuvres from the W will be passed all night.

It’s time Boston steps up to the West Coast’s level in terms of tech events, and what better way to start than packing the gdgt Live Boston event and then letting it all hang out for some good old fashioned networking and partying at the W.

I almost forgot, the winner of the free gdgt live table give away contest is…

Congratulations to Isabella Products, the gdgt team has spoken and you are the winners of the free silver sponsorship! Thanks to all of the other teams that submitted entries, we hope that all of you are still attending the event, and don’t forget there is still time to get the BostInno startup sponsorship discount. Email greg[at]bostinnovation.com to get the details.

The tables are filling up fast and this event is truly going to showcase all of the hottest gadgets out and of course some of Boston’s hottest companies. Check out some of the companies that will be there: AT&T, Boxee, D-Link, DivX, Gazelle, Ford SYNC, HTC, Incipio, Isabella Products, Kodak, Lenovo, Line2, Logitech, Mimoco, Olympus, Scosche, SCVNGR, Sonos, Springpad, TomTom, T-Mobile, TiVo, Western Digital, and Wrapsol.

In addition to throwing an after party, Gazelle is also taking the time to raise money for a charity using your old gadgets. Bring your old gadgets to the event, and all of the money made from the donated gadgets will go to Strategies for Children, a local Boston NPO that works to ensure children in the Bay State have access to high-quality education and become proficient readers by third grade. You and I both know, there are unused gadgets all over your house, apartment, or dorm room. Forget craigslist, donate them and make a difference.
