According to a blog post late last night, Boston-based Swap.com has just launched a new program aimed at helping schools and children. The program titled Swap4Schools allows school faculty to list the books that they need on Swap.com for all users to see. Users who own those books have the option to either donate or swap their copy of the book.

This is an awesome movement that I hope catches on. Schools are constantly getting their budgets cut and the kids are directly affected by this. Jumping on board and swapping/ donating old or extra copies of your books is a great way to do your part.
