Seinfeld fans, get your bowls ready! The infamous Soup Nazi, a.k.a actor Larry Thomas, may be coming to Boston this summer – but only if we can prove we really want him here.

Thomas operates the Seinfeld Food Truck, and according to the Soup for Boston Facebook page, he is running a campaign next month to bring Seinfeld-related grub to the city with the most Seinfeld fans in the country.

The Seinfeld Food Truck, manned by Seinfeld’s own “Soup Nazi,” Larry Thomas, will be traveling to one U.S. city this July 2012, distributing free iconic Seinfeld food samples such as Junior Mints, Mulligatawny soup, non-fat yogurt and black & white cookies to fans. Plus, free Seinfeld souvenirs and pictures with the Soup Nazi. Only one city will win a visit from the famed Soup Nazi and we want that to be Boston. Our goal is to get enough Facebook “likes” to show the Seinfeld folks we deserve to have the Soup Nazi visit our great city so that we can finally hear him say: “SOUP FOR YOU!”

Along with the Facebook page, the campaign is also running a Twitter handle, @SoupForBoston, pushing out a hashtag #soupforboston, and even a YouTube video (seen below).

Back in 2008, the Soup Nazi made an appearance in Cambridge as part of his Seinfeld Campus Tour, stopping in Harvard Square to meet with fans.

The truck’s motto, “Justice Will Be Served … With a Spoon,” says it all. Let’s do this, Boston.
