Samsung appears to have really hit its stride as of late and with recent smash hits like the Galaxy S4, the South Korean electronics producer is looking to ride the same wave of success with the latest installment in its phablet series, the Samsung Galaxy Note III. Early looks at specs and pics indicate that, if all is true, we have a sleek yet powerful device on our hands.

At this point, most pundits agree that the Galaxy Note III packs a heavy-duty punch. With a 5.9-inch Full HD super AMOLED display with the same diamond pixel structure as in the S4. This allows for a much richer picture as it packs more pixels into a smaller area. And seeing as how the screen may not be that small at all, the device may have a clarity advantage over its rival phablet makers.

It looks to run on the popularized Exynos 5 octa-core processor, which is essentially two dual-cores that allow for strong central processing as well as graphic processing and works out well for this gadget. Also to be included is an unprecedented–for mobile devices anyway–3GB of RAM and may boast 32GB of internal storage with the likelihood for support for more if needed.

13 mp cameras seem to be all the rage in smartphones and tablets alike these days so its only natural that Samsung would be inclined to include one on the Note III.  As for what all of this will operate on, we’re thinking the probable Android 4.3 which rumors indicate is the OS of choice for debut at Google’s upcoming I/O conference later this month.

As for the debut of this mobile monster? If history has taught us anything, its that its likely to repeat itself so Samsung may shoot for the IFA Expo on September 6-11 in Berlin, Germany. This is the same event that gave us the Note III’s predecessor, the Note II.

Let’s hear from the Note users and Samsung loyalists out there. How is this phablet going to perform if all the impressive early specs are true? Is it possible that Samsung’s mobile gadgets will surpass the popularity and international acclaim of rival Apple’s? Leave your thoughts below.
