On Monday, May 20, a deadly tornado ripped through areas outside Oklahoma City, leaving 24 people dead — at least 7 of whom are children — and another 145 injured. The tornado’s 22-mile path left nothing but devastation in its wake, destroying homes, schools and medical centers, leaving thousands displaced in Oklahoma. As we know all too well here in Boston, human resilience triumphs over all, but the rebuilding process in Oklahoma is sure to be a long one. Below we’ve rounded up ways to help those affected by the tragic tornado in Oklahoma.

American Red Cross –You can donate to the American Red Cross online by following this link. Also, you can send a text to 90999 with the message REDCROSS to drop a $10 donation to the agency. Donations by phone can be made by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

The Salvation Army – Give online or call 1-800-SAL-ARMY (1-800-725-2769) to help The Salvation Army disaster relief services. The Salvation Army is also accepting donations via text. Send a message with the word “STORM” to 80888 to make a $10 donation to the cause.

Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief – The Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief is asking for money and prayers, according to its website. Donate to their disaster relief efforts here.

Convoy of Hope – Using the crowdfunding platform HopeMob, Convoy of Hope is trying to raise $15,000 in one week for recovery causes. At the time of publishing, they’ve raised more than $9,400.

Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma – Make a donation to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma by clicking here, or texting “FOOD” to 32333 for a $10 donation.
