After just reporting this morning that Apple’s new iPhone 5S would come with the option for a gold casing, leaked photos have emerged confirming that Apple has the Midas touch. Apple tech blog 9t05mac got its hands on the pics courtesy of foreign fan site Mac Boutic.

The first person to suggest Apple would be giving its upcoming flagship a grill was none other than KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo who sometimes seems to know what Apple’s planning before those over in Cupertino even know. He’s also forecasting the handset to come with 128GB of internal memory to supposedly “to offer greater differentiation from iPhone 5.”

To put absolutely how beastly 128GB of storage is, consider that nearly universally across the board smartphones come with either 16GB or 32GB of storage space. It’s like pitting Tom Brady up against Tim Tebow, Apple’s iPhone 5S may just operate on a whole new level.

There’s been no word yet on how much the cost of the iPhone 5S, but tech junkies are eyeing September 10 for an Apple press event. Likely to debut alongside the iPhone 5S are the low-cost iPhone 5C and the mobile operating system iOs 7, though Tim Cook at company haven’t confirmed anything.
