Authorities are now saying that they have a surveillance tape that definitely shows Aaron Hernandez in the same night club with two other men who were killed later that night in a drive-by shooting, according to a new report from the Hartford Courant. The two victims, gunned down in South Boston in July 2012, are apparently shown in the video along with Hernandez at the same establishment only hours before the brutal murders took place.

The Courant cited multiple law “enforcement sources with knowledge of the investigation” for the new information. If proven to be accurate, it would be an important piece in possibly linking Hernandez to the scene of the crime.

The two men killed were Dorchester residents Daniel Abreu, 29, and Safiro Furtado, 28. They were killed after each was shot during the early-morning hours of July 16th, 2012. A third victim was injured, though was not killed.

As of now, there have been no charges filed in the double murder, though Hernandez has been a known person of interest in the case. The former New England Patriots star has already been indicted on gun chargers and first-degree murder in the slaying of Odin Lloyd earlier this year.

He will face trial for the murder of Lloyd most likely next year, though no official court date has been set.

While there have been no formal charges, authorities have have recovered several critical pieces of evidence, including a car believed to be the one driven by the shooters. Recently, authorities said that they have recovered a .38 caliber weapon believed to be the one used in the shooting.
