From debating the many merits of the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the pumpkin beer in This v. That, to announcing the arrival of Pumpkin Spice M&M’s and Pumpkin Spice Whiskey, we’ve been busy keeping our eye on the pumpkin beat. And it’s not even October yet. While I admit that pumpkin does enhance the deliciousness of some classic fall goods like pumpkin bread, it seems like companies are going a bit overboard with the whole pumpkin-flavored, pumpkin-scented thing. Do we really need to eat, smell, or cover our bodies in some form of pumpkin to appreciate fall?

In response, we’ve deemed some of the most ridiculous pumpkin products on the market. If you’re guilty of purchasing any, you’re probably deep in the midst of a serious pumpkin bender. If you’re still laughing at the craze, you’re probably doing okay. As for me, I’m going to celebrate the end of this rant with my first Pumpkin Spice Latte. Because it is officially fall after all, and it’s impossible to be that much of a pumpkin scrooge.
