Duck Boats in October just feels right, don’t they (*knocks on wood*)? Today, Bostonians and tourists can ride the boats for free.

Santander, formerly Sovereign Bank, has rebranded itself and will celebrate by sponsoring a promotion that will give people free access to a Boston Duck Tour all day. Hurry though, no reservations will be taken.

Tickets must be obtained in person at the Museum of Science, Prudential Center or New England Aquarium ticket booths. Ticket booths opened at 8:30 a.m. this morning, and tours started at 9 a.m. Tours will run every half-hour until an hour before sunset – 5:57 p.m.

Oh, and while we’re at it, try this on for size: Dunkin’ Donuts will be giving away free coffee and donuts in City Hall Plaza, Dartmouth Street Plaza, and Boston Common off Tremont Street.

Plus, Kickass Cupcakes will be given out in Post Office Square and Boylston Street in Back Bay.

Free sugar and sight-seeing!
