Update 2:21 p.m: The challenge: dress up like a green monster with red socks.
Okay, Boston, here’s the challenge. Dress up like a green monster with red socks, and get down to Marsh Plaza at BU to be on my show!

May the best costumed, crazed baseball fan win!
Update 1:33 p.m: Ellen tweeted this afternoon that she will be at Marsh Plaza on BU’s campus at 5 p.m. giving away World Series tickets:
Who’s ready to win some World Series tickets? I’m talking to you, Boston. Marsh Plaza at BU. 5pm. Be there.

The Red Sox are headed to the World Series tomorrow, and chances are you plan on watching each game from the comfort of your living room, or your friend’s living room, or a local bar. You’re not going to the World Series, is what I’m trying to say.
Well, Ellen Degeneres is in Boston today, and she wants to change that for one of her Twitter followers. She’s been hinting at a “surprise” in Boston, and teasing tweets about the World Series. I’m no detective, though, so see for yourself:
Go Sox! I haven’t seen a comeback like that since Cher’s 5th farewell tour. I’ve got a surprise in Boston this Tuesday. Be ready!

Could be a coincidence right?
Hey Boston, I bet you’d really like a ticket to the World Series. Well, I hope you’re free tomorrow.

Me thinks not.
As the day unfolds, we’ll likely get more clues as to how to get our hands on this ticket she speaks of, so ditch the work you were planning on doing today, and devote your time to closely monitoring Ellen’s Twitter account, @TheEllenShow, and be prepared to pounce when the time comes. I’m not sure what getting said ticket will actually entail, but “pounce” could apply either literally or figuratively.
We’ll be updating this piece with any major clues that Ellen tweets — but we can’t promise we won’t try to get to those tickets first.
