Believe it or not – despite the snow piling up outside – many bars and restaurants plan to remain open tonight and even tomorrow. But chances are, you may not feel like venturing outside, or out of your pajamas, for that matter.
Fortunately, some of these eateries will also be serving up limited time, special snow day deals. And trust us – you’ll want to take advantage of the delicious offerings. In honor of Winter Storm Hercules, here’s a quick roundup of food and drink deals happening in the Hub. Let us know if we missed anything in the comments below!
Bar 10
The Back Bay bar will be open both Thursday and Friday. To celebrate the snow day, the bar will be serving up a special martini called the Abominable Snowman with Stoli Vanilla, White Godiva and Peppermint Schnapps.
Boston Chops
Located in the South End of Boston, this urban steak bistro will be serving $1 oysters from 4 p.m. until close at the bar both today and tomorrow.
Craigie on Main
The Cambridge tasting menu restaurant will be remain open today and will be offering a special $45 snowstorm four-course menu, according to Eater Boston.
Estelle’s
Chef Eric Gburski is serving up a special called, “The Sloppy Poe Boy” with wicked hot sausage in a tomato sauce with cheddar cheese & fried onions. Available today and tomorrow for $11.95.
Heirloom Kitchen
The locally-sourced takeout and delivery company will be offering takeout at the Dedham storefront until 6 p.m. All you have to do is stop by and mention the word “snowstorm” for a free appetizer when you order two entrees.
Lolita
The Spanish restaurant and bar tweeted out earlier today that they would remain open on Thursday. And if you mention “snow day special,” you’ll receive 20% off your meal.
Prezza
The restaurant is serving up a “Snow Emergency Special.” Order a glass of Chianti tonight and you will get a complimentary gnocchi Bolognese appetizer.
Puritan & Company
The Cambridge restaurant will be serving a snow day prix fixe menu in addition to the regular menu both Thursday and Friday. The snow day menu consists of four courses for $40.
Seta’s Cafe
In Belmont, Seta’s Cafe will remain open today. According to their Facebook, the cafe will be offering a complimentary cup of hot coffee with purchase.
Tres Gatos
According to Eater Boston, Tres Gatos is open tonight and serving free coffee to all patrons.
Uburger
Spend $5 today at Uburger and save your receipt. You’ll be able to get 50% off at the same Uburger location, if you return Friday or Saturday, according to their Facebook.
Union Square Donuts
Union Square Donuts will be open today and launching “two new donuts – Chocolate Marble Glaze & an Old Fashioned cake donut.” If you mention this Snow Day Promotion Facebook post, you’ll receive a free small coffee or hot chocolate when you spend at least $10.
