What better way to ring in the Chinese New Year than by experiencing the best Chinese food in the city. And given that this Friday, January 28 marks the beginning of the celebrations, we thought it was only necessary to share Boston’s most reviewed and well-liked, Chinese and Asian fusion restaurants.

Urbanspoon, a popular mobile restaurant discovery app, released to us “America’s Most Popular Chinese Restaurants,” spotlighting over 50 of America’s most well-reviewed Chinese restaurants. The picks were based on consumer activity, reviews and editorial picks.

And, no surprise, 3 Boston-area Chinese restaurants happened to make the list (below). In addition, we’ve taken the liberty of rounding up some of the more popular Chinese and Asian fusion restaurants in the Hub that we recommend you try this weekend. “Xin Nian Kuai Le,” everyone – that’s Chinese for Happy New Year (in pinyin, of course).
