It’s becoming tradition, strangely, but Harvard is back in a premier athletic competition. For the third consecutive season, the Harvard basketball team will play in the NCAA Tournament. And 2014 March Madness lands the Crimson in a duel with the Cincinnati Bearcats. For anyone asking how to watch Harvard in March Madness for another season, pay attention.

Harvard will be on at 2:10 p.m. EST on the March Madness Live, which is the NCAA’s official site used with its many broadcast partners to show every NCAA Tournament game online. To watch Harvard, just go to that site, enter your online login info for whatever cable service you have, and start watching.

Bigger question: Does Harvard have a chance against the intimidating Bearcats? Answer in short: Yes.

Basically, Harvard has been dominant this season for large stretches, including the current eight-game winning streak that they’re on. They clinched the first berth in the entire field for the 2014 tournament, and have five players who average more than 10 points per game.

Still, Cincinnati are competition on a level that Harvard really haven’t seen in months. Their last notable matchup against a team as talented as Cincinnati came in January when they lost to UConn, 61-56. There is always a chance that Tommy Amaker’s team might simply not be ready for the rigors of heavyweight opponents.

Bottom line: Amaker is a great coach, and will most likely have his team prepared. Also, Cincinnati recently lost to UConn as well, so the logic that they will simply overwhelm Harvard is far from full-proof.
