Fans of Wahlburgers – both the burger joint and the A&E reality show of the same name – prepare for some big news. After rumors spread that the Wahlberg family-founded restaurant, currently with its first and only shop located in Hingham, Mass., were eyeing a new location in Lynnfield, it’s official.

A second Wahlburgers restaurant will be opening at MarketStreet Lynnfield – but, that’s not all.

Boston Business Journal reports, after speaking to Wahlburgers’ CEO Rick Vanzura, that the restaurant company is about “two weeks away” from signing a lease for a third location in Fenway. Hold onto your hats, Tasty Burger. As of now, the company has “reached terms for a lease” at a 4,200 square foot space in a Samuels & Associate development.

In addition to the two new restaurants coming to the Greater Boston area, Wahlburgers will be making moves in new markets. According to the BBJ, they’re in the works to expand to the Philadelphia and Atlantic City areas, and a different partner will be opening a location in Toronto this summer – the first Wahlburgers location to open, after the original.

As for the Boston area additions, expect to see the Fenway Wahlburgers open by the end of this year, and the Lynnfield location to open by summer of 2015. You’ll also have to wait to catch Mark, Paul, Donnie and the rest of the Wahlberg clan on the small screen: Wahlburgers has wrapped up its first season, but don’t worry. A&E has already ordered two more seasons of the hit show, and we’re sure to see the big expansions playing out each week.
