Last Wednesday, Esquire‘s show “Best Bars in America,” a spinoff of a print feature highlighting must-visit bars from different cities, featured the many hot spots of the Boston drinking scene. If you missed out on the episode, here’s a glimpse as to what went down while the team was in town, besides plenty of drinking.
Now that the episode has aired, we’re guessing you have a lengthy list of local bars to visit in the back of your mind, including Drink in Fort Point, Highland Kitchen in Somerville, Brick and Mortar in Cambridge, and more. But if you’re more of the stay-at-home type, or simply like to impress friends with your cocktail-shaking skills, you’re in luck. Boston startup onthebar, an app that highlights awesome cocktails and bartenders in Boston, and author Kristen Ciccolini did us the duty of finding out the recipes of these acclaimed cocktails, for at home imbibing.
