Happy National Coffee Day, folks! Today, September 29, is a celebration of all things coffee bean-related – and caffeinated. Fortunately for Bostonians, that means not having to pay for your daily cup of joe this morning. Several places in the Hub are serving up free coffee deals to kickstart your day – here’s where to find them.

Boston Common Coffee Co.

To celebrate the opening of their fourth Boston location today (near North Station), Boston Common Coffee Co. is handing out free coffee from 6 to 9 a.m. this morning. The coffee shop is currently located on Salem Street in the North End, Washington Street in Downtown Crossing and High Street in the Financial District.

Dunkin’ Donuts

Chances are good that you’re already on your way to a Dunkin’ Donuts this morning. Fortunately, the coffee chain is offering a free medium cup of its new hot Dark Roast Coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts locations nationwide.

McDonald’s

If you live and/or work near a McDonald’s, you’re in luck! The fast food restaurant is giving diners a free small McCafe coffee during breakfast hours this morning.

Peet’s Coffee & Tea

According to Peet’s Facebook page, the coffee shop is serving up a special deal today. Guests can “buy one beverage, get one free coffee or espresso” at any participating Peet’s Coffee & Tea.
