Besito Mexican

199 Boylston Street, Chestnut Hill

If you’re in the mood for some chips and guac, we recommend checking out the newly opened Besito Mexican in Chestnut Hill. The authentic Mexican eatery, which opens today, November 7, is the chain’s second Massachusetts location.

Cafe ArtScience

650 E Kendall Street, Cambridge

Check out the Boston area’s innovative new restaurant, Cafe ArtScience. Chef Patrick Campbell (Eastern StandardNo. 9 Park), expert Mixologist Todd Maul (Clio) and General Manager Tom Mastricola (Commonwealth) teamed up with Cambridge-based WikiFoods think tank, led by Harvard Professor David Edwards, to create an eatery with everything from “breathable chocolates” to “pods of frozen yogurt wrapped in an edible skin,” reports the Boston Globe. The restaurant opened October 31.

Centre Street Cafe

The beloved Jamaica Plain restaurant closed earlier this year and has seen been reopened under new ownership. The restaurateur behind Tres Gatos revamped the eatery with a focus on Italian and Mediterranean fare. According to Eater Boston, the restaurant reopened this past Tuesday, November 4.

Fuji at Assembly

320 Canal Street, Somerville

A new restaurant option has popped up in Somerville’s Assembly Row. According to UrbanDaddy, Fuji at Assembly serves up plenty of sushi and Szechuan stir-fry. The Asian restaurant opened this past Wednesday, November 5.

Gracie’s Ice Cream

22 Union Square, Somerville

Just because the weather is cooling down doesn’t mean we’re giving up our ice cream habit so quickly. And now, if you live and/or work in Somerville’s Union Square, you certainly don’t have to. The new ice cream shop, Gracie’s Ice Cream, opens today, November 7, according to Eater Boston.
