After months of anxiety-inducing games, fantasy football wagers and deflate-gate controversy, Super Bowl XLIX is finally here! Leaving us all with one very important question: where will we watch the game this Sunday, Feb. 1? But with all-you-can-eat BBQs, drink deals and viewing parties happening around town – there’s no reason to sit at home with your sad bowl of guac. Here’s where you should be eating and drinking during this year’s Super Bowl Sunday.

Bastille Kitchen

If you live in the Fort Point area, stop by Bastille Kitchen this Sunday for their Super Bowl viewing party. The restaurant’s viewing party will be located in the Chalet Lounge Prive (downstairs) beginning at 5 p.m. Executive Chef Adam Kube will be offering special bar bites and a full bar, There is no charge for entry, but space is limited and an RSVP is required. Brass Union

Head to Somerville’s Union Square neighborhood to experience the Super Bowl on Brass Union’s 70 inch TV. The restaurant will be showing the game in the back lounge area with leather couches. There will be board games, card games and dueling shuffleboard courts as well. The party lasts from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. this Sunday.

Bukowski Tavern

Head to the newly revamped Bukowski Tavern in Cambridge for special $10 Game Day Dawgs. The “dawgs” are a trio of mini game-style hotdogs, including: alligator smoked sausage with cilantro creamed corn sauce; bison with a Sriracha ketchup and jalapeńo Dijon; and venison with a relish of chervil, basil, cucumber and tomato. The special will be offered from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. this Sunday.

Cask ‘n Flagon

The Fenway bar will be serving up a Patriotic red, white and blue cocktail called “The Gronk” for $8.50 this Sunday. The cocktail features vodka, lemon juice, blue curacao, grenadine, splash of simple syrup. And while you’re sipping “The Gronk”, you can also watch him play on one of Cask ‘n Flagon’s many TVs.

Magoun’s Saloon

This Somerville bar will be hosting several festivities on Super Bowl Sunday. First up is the bar’s 10th Annual Chili Cookoff from noon to 3 p.m. – followed by an all-you-can-eat Super Bowl party. The all-you-can-eat party lasts from 5 to 9 p.m. and costs $14. The menu includes pulled pork, wings, ribs, potato salad, mac n’ cheese, cornbread and more. For more information, check here.

Papagayo

The popular Mexican spot will be offering free food if the Patriots win on Super Bowl Sunday. In order to get a free meal, diners must be at the restaurant at kick-off, order at least one beverage and reserve their spot. If the Patriots lose, diners will still get 50 percent off their meal. Pastoral

This Fort Point pizza spot is celebrating the Super Bowl with craft beer and pizza pairing specials, craft cocktail specials, wings, pizzas and complimentary pepperoni flavored popcorn served at the bar. The deals start at 6 p.m.

Poe’s Kitchen at The Rattlesnake

On Super Bowl Sunday, the bar and restaurant will feature their special chipotle wings for just $8. Chef Brian Poe’s wings are served with smoked jalapeńo rub, celery, poblano & blue cheese sauce.

Post 390

This Super Bowl Sunday, the Back Bay restaurant will feature their “Super Bowl Squares” event for guests. Diners can stop by the Post 390 bar to fill out a square (one square per guest per visit) and they will automatically be entered to win prizes valued at $1,000. The board closes Sunday at 2 p.m., numbers will be drawn after brunch and winners will be announced at the restaurant and via Facebook.

River Bar

If you’re craving unique food this Sunday, we recommend heading to Assembly Row’s River Bar. The restaurant will be serving up a Scorpion Bowl meant for sharing for $24 along with other game day snacks including Chef Patrick Gilmartin’s famous Ah-So Chicken Wings for $7 and a South Shore-style bar pizza for $9 with toppings like nduja and uni.

Row 34

The Fort Point oyster bar is celebrating Super Bowl Sunday with specials like $10 spicy chicken wings, $12 broiled oysters, $8 meatballs, and more. Chef Jeremy Sewall will also be serving up his famous onion dip with housemade potato chips for $5.

Sa Pa

If you’re in Brookline, head to Cleveland Circle’s Sa Pa restaurant for their Super Bowl specials this weekend. The restaurant will have the game playing on their 60 inch TVs and will feature dishes like wings, egg rolls, $2 cans of Sapporo, Green Head IPA, Full Proof Barstool Golden Ale, etc  and $15 pitchers of Lagunitas IPA, Coors Light, Yuengling Lager, and Sapporo.

Strega Waterfront

The Seaport restaurant will be serving all appetizers for 50 percent off in their bar and lounge areas. Dishes include Tuna Carpaccio, Rosetta’s Famous Meatballs, Veal and Pancetta Dumplings, Fritto Misto and more. The restaurant opens at 4 p.m.

Sweet Cheeks

If you’re craving BBQ this Super Bowl Sunday, head to Fenway’s Sweet Cheeks. The restaurant’s Super Bowl menu costs $30 per person and includes biscuits, choice meats, sides, and dessert. The Tap Trailhouse

The Faneuil Hall bar and restaurant will be featuring special game day deals and giveaways. For $15, guests can order the Pats Pairing, a combination of two Tap Trailhouse staples: Noble Dog, a half-pound beef hotdog that is poached in brown sugar and Freedom Trail Ale – all paired with one of the bar’s three New England craft beer flights–Light, Dark, or Seasonal. Guests who arrive before the end of first quarter and remain throughout the game are also entered into a special gift card giveaway.

Tony C’s Sports Bar & Grill

The recently-opened sports bar in Assembly Row will be dealing out plenty of Super Bowl specials during the game, including pig skins, quesadillas, short ribs, wings and more. The bar also happens to have around 100 state-of-the-art TVs and a massive array of draft beers.
