To help temper commuters’ frustrations and winter weather woes, the MBTA will deploy ambassadors to certain stations on Monday, Feb. 23.

The move by the embattled transit authority comes as it makes further strides in regaining service on its subway, trolley and commuter rail lines.

All MBTA subway and trolley lines are operational for the first time since Feb. 1 though a low frequency of train arrivals and traffic could induce delays.

According to the MBTA, the ambassadors will appear during peak commuting hours to answer any questions and respond to any comments users might have. They’ll be at the following locations:

Weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.:

  • Mattapan Station
  • Central Avenue
  • Sullivan
  • North Station-Orange Line
  • State-Orange Line

Weekdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.:

  • Ashmont
  • Downtown Crossing
  • State-Orange Line
  • Haymarket
  • North Station-Orange Line

Service has returned across nearly every single line since the inclement February weather dumped more than 90 inches of snow, accompanied by freezing cold temperatures, on the Greater Metro Area.

MBTA laborers have been out on the tracks shoveling huge mounds of snow in order to try and bring MBTA operations back to full force.

Be sure to check back with BostInno or the MBTA alerts system for service updates and real-time information.
