Yeah, you read that right. Someone has started a Kickstarter project to raise funds to create a Ron Paul video game, as Buzzfeed noted last week.

Daniel S. Williams, the game’s creator, explained the project in the video below. Basically, he’s looking to take the Libertarian principles that presidential candidate Ron Paul holds near and dear, like using gold instead of paper cash and fighting the Federal Reserve system, and turn them into a video game.

According to the description, “features of the game include:

  • 50+ Levels designed around each of the United States
  • 13 Boss Fights representing each branch of the Federal Reserve
  • Challenging puzzle-platformer element. There’s no ‘beating up monsters until they’re dead’ aspect. You must guide the baddies through each level.
  • original soundtrack
  • bonus unlockable characters”

The Kickstarter has already met and exceeded it’s $5,000 goal, but with 14 days left t contribute, you can help “make liberty sexy.”
