The DC tech community’s flagship monthly event arrives this Tuesday once again. Held at the MLK library in Chinatown, a short walk from the metro, DC Tech Meetup typically attracts nearly 500 attendees every event from various industries and businesses. The departments of labor and commerce in addition to the U. S. Geological Survey are partnering to host this data science event. Seven teams of D.C.-based data scientists have come together for a three month incubator and are now ready to present their findings, which work to improve projects spanning health, economics the environment.
