Day 2 of Wimbledon is already underway today and many of the marquee match ups are sure stir some excitement. Yesterday in one of the biggest upsets in the history of tennis, Rafael Nadal was eliminated in the first round by no. 135 ranked Steve Darcis in unusual fashion. Having just come off an enormous win at the French Open, Nadal was plagued by a nagging knee injury which proved to add to his downfall. Check out our Wimbledon 2013 live stream below.

In the women’s singles, Serena Williams is looking to carry the momentum from her respective win at Roland Garros and is matched against Mandy Minella of Luxembourg. For Grand Slam singles, Minella has yet to reach the second round in all events except the U.S. Open where she’s made it as far as the third. Conversely, Williams has won all four Grand Slams multiple times each as well as boasts an Olympic gold medal from the recent 2012 London games.

As for the men’s singles, the headliner match pits no. 8 Juan Martín del Potro of Argentina against Albert Ramos Vińolas of Spain. Vińolas has a lot to live up to seeing as how fellow Spaniard Nadal was ousted from the prestigious tournament just yesterday. He has yet to break through to the second round of both the Australian Open and Wimbledon, having advanced to the second in the U.S. Open and French Open. del Porto took the U.S. Open back in 2009 while reaching the semifinals of the French Open the same year. He also made it as far as the quarterfinals in the Australian Open twice as Wimbledon looks to be his real conquest not having made it past the fourth.

Let’s hear some predictions from the tennis junkies out there. Who’s going to take the men’s singles and women’s singles this year at Wimbledon? Will there be any more upsets a la Rafael Nadal?
