Just less than a week ago late actor James Gandolfini, 51, was laid to rest in a New York City funeral attended by family, close friends, fellow actors, and block-after-block of brokenhearted fans. Today, it was revealed that Gandolfini divided the bulk of his estimated $70 million estate among friends and family, with the majority of it being split between his 13-year old son Michael and 8-month old daughter Liliana.

Gandolfini, best known for portraying overwrought mob boss Tony Soprano in the HBO original series The Sopranos, suffered a heart attack on June 19 while visiting Italy with his son to celebrate the youngster’s graduation from middle school. In fact, it was his young son who tragically found him on the bathroom floor of their Rome hotel room and called for help.

Michael will receive the majority of his father’s estate per a will that the New Jersey native filed in Manhattan Surrogate’s Court dated December 19, presumably last year. His inheritance includes a trust that he’ll receive upon turning 21, a West Village Manhattan apartment with parking space (metropolitan parking spaces are a valuable commodity these days), and his father’s clothing and jewelry. He’ll also be sharing the Italian house and property left to him with his infant sister upon her turning 25.

Written in the will, Gandolfini noted, “It is my hope and desire that they will continue to own said property and keep it in our family for as long as possible.”

The remainder of the estate will be split among Gandolfini’s two sisters who will receive 30 percent each, as well as his wife Deborah Lin and daughter Liliana who will each receive 20 percent apiece.

Showing just how generous the universally adored actor was are the provisions secured for non-family members. While two of his nieces will each receive $500,000, his personal assistant and secretary were both left $200,000, his godson left $100,000, and two friends left $50,000 each.
