From corporate galas to non-profit fundraisers, Boston boasts some pretty kickass events (check out last year’s top 100  here). But who’s behind the glitz, the glamour, and the seamless programming? The creative cocktails, daring entertainment, and perfection that is the main course? Check out the slideshow of Boston’s top event planning firms, bringing innovation to event design and making jaws drop every weekend of the year.

Rafanelli EventsFrom Fenway to the Common, Rafenelli has done it all. Specializing in corporate, private, non-profits and nuptials, I’ll let the amazing pictures speak for themselves. Check out event galleries here.

Corinthian Events. Enhancing Boston’s landmarks including the Public Library and the Moakley Courthouse, the team at Corinthian Events isn’t afraid to push for unconventional venues as well. They’ve transformed a Delta Hangar at the Logan airport for a corporate anniversary benefit and have bragging rights to turning an event around in only five days.

Blue Ivy Events. In stunning photo galleries that will overload your Pinterest boards, the event designers at Blue Ivy have a refined talent for creating breathtaking scenes and always-classy themed events. Founded by a Harvard grad, this group creates gorgeous corporate and social events both in New England and beyond, specializing in destination management in South Florida and Southern Cali as well.

Best of Boston. I like their tenacity in titling themselves ‘the best’. With key vendor relationships, they have a knack for coordinating and executing large scale events, moving thousands of guests from one venue to another  and even taking over City Hall Plaza for one 8,000 person event. They specialize in everything from large conferences to product launches, and have a focus on each client’s business strategy throughout the planning cycle.
