Eight people have been shot in Boston  since midnight on Saturday, according to police. According to Wicked Local Roslindale, the most recent shooting was fatal.

The Roslindale shooting occurred at 11:48 p.m. Saturday night at 80 Archdale Road near the Mayor Menino Community Center. The report from Wicked Local said the man was shot and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. His identity has not been released.

This weekend’s string of shootings began on Saturday when three men were wounded, one critically, after an early morning shooting outside the Stadium Sports Bar and Grill in South Boston, according to police.

Gunshots were reported at 12:17 a.m. Saturday morning near 232 Old Colony Ave, according to Boston Police spokeswoman Nicole Grant.

One man, found on nearby Dorchester Street with apparent gunshot wounds, was taken to Tufts Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, said Grant.

Boston.com reports, that according to Grant’s statement, witnesses told police there were two additional shooting victims. One reportedly was treated for life-threatening injuries after showing up on his own at Boston Medical Center. Police said he was in critical, but stable condition.

Officers later responded to a a call about a person shot on Parker Street in Jamaica Plain, said Grant. There, police found a man with a gunshot wound, who said he was shot near the Stadium Sports Bar. He was taken to Brigham and Women’s and is expected to live.

Citing an unnamed employee, boston.com reports that the Stadium closed immediately after the shooting.

It is unknown if the victims had been inside the bar before the shooting, Grant said, and no arrests have been made.

CBS Boston reports that, about 15 minutes after the shooting in South Boston, two women were shot on Tremont Street in Roxbury near the Roxbury Crossing T station.

Both women were taken to Boston Medical Center with non-lifethreatening injuries.

The same report said Boston police reported a shooting at Elm Hill Avenue around 2 p.m. Saturday.
