Want to avoid “Breaking Bad” spoilers? There’s an app for that. Thanks to Netflix’s new “Spoiler Foiler” app, introduced just this week. The purpose is to help Breaking Bad fans everywhere avoid unintentional spoilers on Twitter. And to (obviously) keep viewers watching the show via Netflix.

But it’s about time (am I right?). I’m fairly certain that all Breaking Bad fans are nodding their heads in agreement– especially since this last season is flat out holding us hostage in front of our television every Sunday night. After all, if you miss an episode it’s practically impossible to avoid the constant stream of shock reactions from across the nation – my tweet included. After watching the last episode on Sunday night, I felt my heart beating a mile a minute – and HAD to share my anxiety with the world (via Twitter).

But if you’re looking to avoid my spoilers (and others), it’s may be necessary to download this app asap (like, before next Sunday). According to the Huffington Post, the app will “hide spoilers from your feed” by finding “tweets containing any and all words associated with the show” and blacking them out. Well, that’s a relief. Here’s what the Breaking Bad black-out will look like:

But be warned – if you accidentally click on the tweet, Breaking Bad spoilers will be revealed. There is one catch, however. In order to access the Spoiler Foiler, you must log onto Twitter via their website. Apparently, “your timeline on Twitter.com, TweetDeck and the like” will all appear normal. So, make sure to avoid Twitter without this app on Sunday night and probably Monday morning as well.

But if you’re looking to preserve tweets (not necessarily filter them for Breaking Bad alone) then Tomorrowish might be your future “Tivo for Twitter”. It allows you to preserve and pull tweets about a TV show so that when you watch the show, specific tweets about the episode appear before you in real time. Not missing a thing (except spoilers).

If only they had a Facebook spoiler foiler app as well…

So what do you think about the new Spoiler Foiler app?
