Any iOS 7 updates and reviews may be streamlined or revised after reports are starting to surface that iOS 7 is causing widespread nausea. Many mobile Apple users are complaining that the new parallax feature, one where the entire UI shifts on an axis to make viewing easier for users at an extreme angle, as well as the zoom in and zoom out, are causing motion sickness not unlike sensation that occurs when one reads a book in a moving vehicle.

Many iOS 7 adopters have vocalized their dislike for the next-generation mobile operating system, mostly because they have to take the time to familiarize themselves with it. Apple has built an electronic and empire and exerted brand dominance on the simple, foundational sentiment that their products are intuitive; learnable on-the-fly but some time must be spent in doing so.

This assimilation process, though, has exposed users more thoroughly to the parallax and zooming features, and has induced subsequent cases of motion-sickness.

CNET has curated a number of responses to iOS 7’s including this one via an unnamed forum noting “The zoom animations everywhere on the new iOS 7 are literally making me nauseous and giving me a headache,’ one forum poster wrote last week. ‘It’s exactly how I used to get carsick if I tried to read in the car.”

Similar responses have been cited by Yahoo! with one user sounding defeated if not utterly helpless. “Just had a long chat with Apple support,’ one disgruntled user said on the Apple forums. ‘Apparently there is no way to turn off animations.”

iOS 7 was touted prior to its release earlier this month on its overhauled design, instinctive navigation, and user-friendliness. But that’s not to say that all products, even those by Apple, don’t come without their early flaws and minute errors.

There’s been no mention yet as to whether Apple plans to address this issue, though I doubt the Cupertino-based company would allow themselves to be subjected to the criticisms of having released poorly-received software.
