This weekend, New Hampshire’s motto “Live Free or Die” will take on a new meaning. How so? The granite state is hosting a Zombie Survival Race located in the small town of New Boston, NH. As if the town name itself doesn’t sound apocalyptic enough — this Sunday, it will be filled with hundreds of zombies and runners alike. I guess you could say that the walking dead will soon become the running dead this Sunday.

But before the race commences, enjoy a nice stay in Manchester, NH. The vibrant and picturesque city is located just a short drive from New Boston. You can enjoy the city’s laid back atmosphere, great beer and famous fried chicken fingers – all within a short drive from Boston.

Zombie Survival Race

Location: 17 Hilldale Lane, New Boston, NH

Just a short drive down the road from Manchester lies the small town of New Boston. A $45 registration fee will get you into the town’s 5K “survival race,” which entails running through “zombie infested woodlands,” water and mud, all while being chased by hundreds of zombies – oh my.

You better start practicing your jumping and crawling skills now because it looks as though you’ll need them to survive all of the additional obstacles. Before the race, each runner will be given three flags attached to a belt, called “life points.” Zombies from every which direction will be pursuing your life points — but if they manage to snatch all three, you’re “dead.” Just don’t let them happen.

And if running a 5K race whilst being chased by the walking dead doesn’t sound like fun, then how about becoming the walking dead yourself? That’s right, for $14 you can register to dress up in the most “disgusting, rotten, creepy corpse” costume imaginable and become a terrifying zombie. Personally, I think the zombies have the better end of the deal here.

Registration is still open so check it out today.
