We’ve all heard about the craze that is, pumpkin spice. I mean, who hasn’t? And we can all agree that pumpkin-flavored coffee is indeed quite delicious, helping us to savor every last ounce of the short-lived fall season. But luckily for Boston residents, there’s a new flavored coffee in town — ready to challenge the PSL for the crown.
This month the interactive cupcake shop, Treat Cupcake Bar, debuted the newest menu addition, cupcake-flavored cappuccinos. The coffee drink allows customers to get their caffeine buzz while satisfying their sweet tooth – win/win. Treat Cupcake Bar is already known in Boston as a make-it-yourself cupcake boutique. But their latest tasty innovation brings something totally different and delicious to the table.
The Head Baker, Adie Sprague, concocted six different cupcake-flavored cappuccino options including:
Sprinkle Me Silly: cupcake-flavored cappuccino, whipped cream, sprinkles
Funky Chunky Oreo: cookies n’ cream cappuccino, whipped cream, crushed oreos
Peanut Butter Overload: chocolate and peanut butter cappuccino, whipped cream, reese’s pieces
S’Mores: chocolate marshmallow cappuccino, whipped cream, graham cracker
Cookie Dough: cookie dough cappuccino, whipped cream, chocolate chips
North Pole: mint cookies n’ cream cappuccino, whipped cream, crushed candy canes
I don’t know about you but that S’Mores is calling my name. The $4 cupcake-flavored cappuccinos are all available at the Cupcake Bar’s Needham and Chestnut Hill locations.
