Major delays stemming from a power problem have impacted the MBTA’s Green Line this morning.

The MBTA has said D-Line riders should expect “severe delays” and has advised them to seek alternate transportation.

Shuttle buses have been brought in to replace Green Line trolleys.

Eight stations including have been affected.

  1. Reservoir Station;
  2. Chestnut Hill;
  3. Newton Centre;
  4. Newton Highlands;
  5. Eliot;
  6. Waban;
  7. Woodland; and
  8. Riverside
Fox 25 footage from above the D-Line tracks shows workers trying to pull a downed power line from the tracks.
The stations that have been impacted run along a portion of Commonwealth Avenue, so drivers should be aware of possible delays.
