It’s finally here, folks. Everything you’ve been working towards the last five days all wrapped up into something we call, the weekend. Well, at least it will be once the clock strikes 5. And while you’re counting down the minutes until beer o’clock, I think we all know what you’ll really be doing — planning your Friday night.

After hitting up the new Tunnel nightclub, you may find yourself out on the town for much longer than expected. Maybe it’s just one of those spontaneous Friday nights or a date that goes really well, but either way (sleep deprived or not) you are out past midnight. And as you already know (per your mother), nothing good happens after midnight.

Except dinner. Yes, it’s true that food tastes better after the clock strikes 12. And once you’ve been out clubbin,’ the hunger pangs indicate it’s time to start grubbin. But where? In Brookline, of course (especially if you live in Washington Square).

Here’s why: every night until 1:30am, The Abbey serves up a full (I repeat, full) dinner menu. And while you will have numerous late night grub choices to choose from, including deviled eggs, brisket and even quail, I highly recommend the 8 oz. burger topped with a side of the Abbey’s truffle fries with roasted garlic mayo. Mouthwatering goodness on a plate.

Because who really eats a healthy meal after midnight? Save that salad for the usual Monday lunch at your desk. And trust me, The Abbey’s perfectly salted truffle fries will change your life — or at least change your night.
