If you aren’t heading out of town this weekend for Columbus Day, your time may be best spent shopping. Stores in and around Boston are offering all kinds of deals, specials and discounts to customers looking to stock up on fall fashion goodies. Here are some of the best sales you’ll find here in the Hub.
Bloomingdale’s, located in Chestnut Hill, is offering 25% to 50% off on clothes and accessories, and 20% to 75% off on home furnishings both in-stores and online now through Monday, October 14.
Okay, okay. The Wrentham Outlets are technically 35 minutes southwest of Boston, but this where you’re going to get the most bang for your buck. From Friday, October 11 through October 14 all of the outlets and factory stores are offering extra savings of 25% to 65% on top of their everyday savings. Some of their best stores include Polo Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Under Armour and Brooks Brothers.
Lord and Taylor on Boylston Street is participating in the company’s national sale of 15% off both regular and sale items through Monday, October 14 both in-store and online. Print the coupon or have the code texted to your cell phone.
Urban Outfitters has stores in every corner of Boston, so stop by any location for 50% all sale items. The UO in Harvard Square has a whole floor devoted to sale items, so that’s one of the best spots for you to score.
With locations in Copley Square, Cambridge and Coolidge Corner, Gap is holding a Columbus Day sale giving customers 40% off in-store purchases and 35% off online now through Monday, October 14.
Consignment giant Second Time Around is giving patrons 30% to %50% off all purchases this weekend. Check out any of their 10 locations in the Boston area. Since all of their merchandise is consignment, you’ll find something different each of their stores (don’t believe me? There’s a reason why they have three locations on Newbury Street alone).
H&M customers looking for inexpensive yet stylish outerwear for this fall can enjoy 60% off select jackets and knits both online in-store. H&M has two Boston locations, both in Downtown Crossing and on Newbury Street.
Head over to any of the J.Crew locations in and around the city for 40% off all final sale items. The sale is also available online. (Pro tip: the sale section at the J.Crew Copley Place is HUGE. You’re bound to score there).
