John Connolly’s lead over Marty Walsh has narrowed, according to the latest Sage Systems poll.

Connolly holds a four point lead of Walsh in the new poll commissioned by the Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund.

This most recent poll factored in the results of Tuesday night’s debate, which, based on those surveyed, went Walsh’s way. More people who watched the first debate between the two mayoral hopefuls were swayed by Walsh.

Sage Systems polled more than 77,000 unique phone numbers of likely voters who had voted previously between Oct. 16 and Oct. 17.

Results of 626 — 55 percent women, 45 percent men —  “likely” or “somewhat likely” voters are as follows:
