Happy Thursday everyone. Not only do we we get to dress up in our Halloween get-up tonight but we can also celebrate the Red Sox victory with a much-deserved buzz. And if these two coinciding events aren’t reason enough for a celebration drink then I don’t know what is. But not just any drink will do — no, today’s elevated spirits call for some very special spirits. 

That is, a Halloween-themed drink that will make you tipsy while satisfying your sweet tooth. A drink like this should only require great ingredients and a good shake to make your Halloween night complete. And fortunately for you, I’ve found the cocktail that is sure to spice up your trick-or-treating: the “Devil’s Kiss.” Whether you’re looking to venture out donned in your Halloween costume or just want to shake it up at home, this special Halloween-themed cocktail will complete the night. Here’s where to find it in Boston and how to make it yourself:

Here it is folks (above). Made from raspberry vodka, crčme de cassis, triple sec, pomegranate juice and lemon juice, all served up in a yellow sugar-rimmed glass with a black vodka sink. This is the “Devil’s Kiss” Halloween cocktail, made at the South End restaurant, Estelle’s. Just make sure you wander over to this Boston restaurant cloaked in your spooky garb and prepared to enjoy a very sweet, very sip-tastic specialty cocktail.

Or if you decide to throw your own Halloween party tonight, it’s not too late to shake it up right at home. Yes, with the right ingredients and this recipe straight from Estelle’s, you too can create the delicious Halloween cocktail. Just follow these directions:

Devil’s Kiss

Ingredients:

1 & 3/4 oz raspberry vodka

˝ oz crčme de cassis

˝ oz triple sec

˝ oz pomegranate juice

˝ oz lemon juice

yellow sugar rim

1/2 oz black vodka

Method:

1) Combine raspberry vodka, crčme de cassis, triple sec, pomegranate juice and lemon juice in a shaker and shake.

2) Rim a martini glass with yellow sugar.

3) Pour ingredients into the martini glass.

4) Sink ˝ oz of black vodka on the bottom.
