Sometimes, someone else just says it better, you guys.
Get the ducks ready, we’re having a parade! Please, be responsible, and let’s celebrate! Thank you @RedSox. #bostonstrong

[UPDATE] 11:24 a.m.: Mayor Menino announced the duckboats will depart Fenway Park at 10 a.m. and proceed down Boylston Street. The parade will conclude with a traditional “splash” in the Charles River.
The ducks will start at 10am at #Fenway, bring our champions down Boylston Street, and finish with the traditional splash in the Charles.

Thanks to the Bearded Ones and Koji, Boston will host its eighth “rolling rally” since 2002. Red Sox owner John Henry said the parade would happen this Saturday. Boston Duck Tours took to Twitter following last night’s win and confirmed Henry’s date.
Congratulations Boston Red Sox! See you all on Saturday for the Parade!

This will be Menino’s final rolling rally. Not a bad send-off after 20 years of service.
Not a bad time to be a Bostonian, either.
Sidebar: I’d like to think Josh Beckett will be golfing, but there’s no way he’ll be in shape.
Spin it, Bombay!
