If you’re tired of being single while seemingly everyone else is in a committed relationship, engaged, or somehow on the path to wedded bliss, there’s an alternative: marrying yourself.

Los Angeles-based team and real life (married) couple Jeffrey Levin and Bonnie Powers have created a self-marriage kit, reports Cosmo.

For the price of $300, you can be the proud owner of the “I Married Me Kit,” which comes complete with a 14K handcrafted super skinny rose gold ring, vows, ceremony instructions, and daily affirmation cards, according to the product description on the couple’s site.

Of course this raises pressing questions like if you actually wanted to marry someone who wasn’t you, would you have to divorce yourself? And how would you divide up your assets?

Fortunately, the kit is not legally binding. Rather, it is supposed to serve as a ceremonial self-celebration.

We know that the single life in Boston can be less than fulfilling. Massachusetts has one of the highest median ages for marriage in the country, which means it can get downright dismal. But we’re doubtful that marrying yourself will really make you feel any better. There’s plenty of other ways to celebrate yourself – like investing in a new hobby, or going on a small vacation, or buying that really awesome thing you’ve wanted to buy for ages and haven’t actually purchased yet. Or looking in the mirror and saying, You’re great!

However, if you’re determined to make yourself a spouse you will have to wait until December. The product is currently being pre-sold only and won’t be shipped out until then. Perhaps it will give you some time to make wedding plans.
