Right now, there are only three words on every Bostonian’s mind: What a week. In the past five days, Boston has witnessed a Red Sox World Series Championship, a Drake concert, President Obama’s visit to Faneuil Hall and of course, Halloween. Woof.

After all of this jam-packed activity and celebration, it’s no surprise you’re finding yourself a little run down. But one thing’s for sure: you won’t let the exhausting week stop you from hitting the town this Friday night.

After all, there is still plenty of reasons to extend your celebrations. If you still plan on going to the Fall Beer Fest, you may find yourself out a little later than expected. And with late night drinking comes late night eating. Or at least that’s how it should be. So, whether you decide to call it a night with delivery or stay out, Fugakyu serves up some of the best sushi after midnight.

The Japanese sushi joint stays open just long enough on Friday and Saturday nights to ensure you have some delish maki before calling it a night. I, myself, have been guilty of the late-night sushi binge at Fugakyu. No shame. And as Brookline residents, my roommates and I have ordered after-midnight sushi more than a few times. None of which have left me disappointed or hungry.

The Japanese noodle and sushi joint offers a wide range of appetizers and entrees to soak up some of those regretful decisions. When the hunger pangs strike after 12, make sure you order one of their many special maki rolls — I recommend their own Fugakyu Maki with Tuna, unagi and sweet potato tempura inside, scallion and bonito flakes outside.

Good things are happening after midnight — especially when Fugakyu remains open until 1:30 a.m. Monday through Sunday and delivers until 12:45a.m.
