Last night in Nashville, country-music folk gathered in celebration of the genre’s greatest twang. The top dresses? Well, everyone’s talking about Taylor Swift’s crimson number.
“Taylor picked out a stunning Elie Saab couture dress with a sexy — but not too sexy; no Miley is she — open back,” says New York Magazine‘s The Cut. “Her regal styling, perfect red lip, and flowing skirt are perfect, and make us wonder if she’s hoping this is a recipe for romance.”
As much as I rebel against Taylor’s two-cord repertoire of whiny number-one hits, I have to agree. It may even top her crystal-clad Hervé Léger gown from this year’s VMAs. She’s no Whitney Houston, but the girl can pick out a dress.
