From the huge turkey dinner to post-meal lounging, Thanksgiving is all about comfort. If I could wear my pajamas all day, I would. But at my house, holidays are a big-extended-family kind of affair, so I have to look presentable.
My go-to tends to be a flowy dress – Rue stylist Caroline M.’s pick – but this year, I want to try something different. So I checked in with another Rue stylist, Chrissy B. for some expert advice on how to infuse my look with a little more edge while also keeping comfort a priority.
“A cozy sweater, boyfriend jeans, and flats,” Chrissy recommended. “You’ll look like you made an effort, you can move comfortably, and that turkey-filled belly is well-hidden.”
If that’s not something to be thankful for, I don’t know what is.
