As a Brookline resident, I’ve been known to patronize the Paris Creperie more than a few times on weekend mornings. And if you haven’t had the pleasure of perusing their brick and mortar cafe, you may have been tempted once or twice by their delicious food truck. The creperie’s sweet aroma takes over, immediately reminding you just how hungry you really are.

Personally, I love watching the crepe-spinning machine whip up crepes of every type and flavor. From savory breakfast-themed to delicious sweet dessert crepes, this food has helped fill me up more than a few rough mornings. But now it seems the tables have turned at Paris Creperie because the cafe needs your help naming their delicious treats.

Yes, calling all wordsmiths, francophiles and those who have a general obsession with food (like myself). You can now name the Paris Creperie crepes. This week, the cafe posted on their blog that they were following their food truck’s lead and “undergoing a New Menu #Revolution!”

The cafe is looking to make their menu a bit more punny, shall we say. According to their blog, they’re “taking the Crepe Puns and Witticisms to the cafe” but need customers’ suggestions for the crepe names. Below are the “nameless crepe recipes” that are calling out for your witty help:

• Gorgonzola
• Mixed Vegetables
• Chicken
• Basil Leaves

Name these crepes by sending @pariscreperie a Direct Message via Facebook or Twitter with a super witty name, a one-liner that includes the recipe of the crepe, and (optional) an “unspeakable act you would commit in order to win.” Hm.

However, if you need more of an incentive to spend your time mulling over crepe names at work (besides bragging rights), we’ve got one for you. By winning the witty naming contest, you’ll receive “a complimentary customer-named” crepe and possibly a permanent spot on the Paris Creperie’s new menu board.
