The holidays are upon us. Translation: outfits must abound – even if the bank account doesn’t. So we’re turning to our style-on-a-budget bible, Lilliana Vazquez‘s The Cheap Chica’s Guide to Stylefor a little assistance outfitting one Marc New York dress four totally different ways. Here, our stylish findings.

1. To the nines. Heading to the ballet? The Nutcracker is a must. Pin hair back in a soft side bun, wear CZ studs, a layered necklace, and a faux fur jacket. Don’t forget some strappy pumps.

2. To the annual office party. Feel festive even when not wearing sequins. Fuchsia is a just-as-bold alternative. If dancing is involved, wear booties with opaque tights. Finish the look with a simple gold-chain necklace and tousled hair.

3. To work. If you’re in a creative office, we think you can get away with this. Try topping the dress with a fur vest, sleek leather jacket, or a blazer (if the office culture is a bit more buttoned-up). Tights and patent shoes (flats are a safe bet).

4. To Thanksgiving. Transform this dress entirely with a chunky cable sweater over top. Add a patterned scarf for extra color and flat boots for comfort.
