Let’s face it – some people live for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Who doesn’t love a good deal? But bracing yourself for the fighting the crowds whilst heading into the center of retail store chaos isn’t always worth the effort. What some people will do to stretch a dollar and save a buck is enough to make you lose faith in humanity – not to mention forget the holiday spirit.

Fortunately, ShopperTrak, a provider of shopper analytics, has found the 10 days “between Thanksgiving and Christmas likely to have the least amount of in-store holiday shopper traffic,” according to a press release.

Uh huh, we thought you might be interested. After all – crowds or no-crowds – we have to buy gifts for our loved ones. And sometimes it’s just impossible to find what we want online – plus you risk ordering something that ends up being completely disappointing. Sigh. But according to ShopperTrak, “Wednesday, Dec. 4, will be the best day to shop this holiday season with the least amount of store shopper traffic.”

The shopping experts also predicted that Monday, December 2, Tuesday, December 3 and Friday, December 6 will also be good days to get your shopping on this holiday season. No surprise though, according to ShopperTrak, you should probably try and avoid the weekdays immediately following Black Friday weekend, which they “anticipate will be among the busiest days for retail shopper traffic and sales.” Yikes.

So before you set out to shop on Newbury Street or at the malls (gasp), check ShopperTrak’s breakdown of the “best days to shop ranked from least-to-most retail traffic” (below) and plan accordingly, people.
