Men
Guys, you don’t have to try too hard to make it look like you did. Events at work can be tricky, so stick to the casual-Friday uniform (jeans, crisp shirt, and a blazer, duh). But if you’re entertaining at home, ignore the urge to go super laid-back and opt for a dapper suit. Oh, and locate that mistletoe, stat.

Women
Although it would be great to wear that LBD to every occasion on your social calendar, it’s way more fun to have an outfit for each. Jeans and some sparkly jewelry for when the grandparents visit. A sequined skirt to jazz up the office party. But the most fun? Definitely that lace-clad swing dress that nips you in at the waist.

Kids
Sure, they barely make it past 9PM, but while they’re up, let your company revel at their adorable duds. Button-fronts layered with sweaters for the boys. Full-skirted dresses for the girls. They’ll be the life of the party.
