Thanksgiving is over. You’re still painfully full of turkey and it is now acceptable for everyone to gaily blast holiday tunes in your ears all day and every day. While Boston is the best place to live in December, the holidays can prove to bring unnecessary stress with travel plans, holiday parties, and gift exchanges.

Getting a tree is undoubtedly one of the essential Christmas to-dos. However, this proves particularly difficult for those relying on public transit, and no one wants to be that guy that brings a full out Christmas tree onto a rush hour train. But, hey, Christmas time is here and we need our trees.

Fortunately, there are options. Pay a few extra bucks to save yourself the headache and arm workout this year by having your tree delivered to your doorstep. Exotic Flowers is offering Christmas tree delivery to Boston and surrounding towns for flat rates. While you’re at it, order a bouquet to decorate your living space and enjoy the same-day delivery. The trees range from $50-$100, not including delivery costs.

This service does only offer 6- or 7-foot Balsam Fir trees, or 7-foot Fraser Firs. While many likely don’t have a strong preference for type of tree, a 7-foot load in a cramped Boston apartment may simply not be feasible. Fortunately, DASHED offers 3- to 8-foot trees from now right up until Christmas Eve. For about the same price, it even includes set up.

The entire menu of options can be delivered to your doorstep within 45 minutes: 10- to 20- inch wreathes, kissing balls, garlands, mantel pieces, candle rings, branches, flowers, potted plants, and tree stands. The service takes a Foodler menu format, giving an estimate of up to two hours for delivery. Not a bad wait, considering that you can order your full tree and decorations from the office on a Friday afternoon and have it on your doorstep by the time you get home for that Christmas party you’re hosting.

So enjoy your leftover turkey sandwich, take a deep breath, and put off the holiday panic for a couple weeks longer. There’s still time to shamelessly splurge on yourself, for now.
