Welcome to the end of the week folks. Even though you’re probably still a tad exhausted from last night’s raging 50 on Fire party (and after party at Gather), I’m pretty sure a night on the sofa watching Netflix just isn’t in your future. No, your Friday night should instead be spent out on the town and – in our opinion – at Improv Asylum’s “No Rest for the Wicked Funny” performance.

Not only because you know it’ll be outright hysterical but also because this event continues nonstop for a full 24 hours. Yes, you heard me right. “No Rest for the Wicked Funny” means exactly that – no rest. The event will include 24 hours of jam-packed performances from comedians, actors and even a live auction.

The best part about the 24-hour show is the fact that the proceeds goes towards Globe Santa, an organization that delivers holiday gifts to children in need throughout the Boston area. Simply by staying up past midnight for a few laughs, you can give back this holiday season.

Several celebrities are also slated to join the event’s festivities including David Eigenberg of Sex and the City and Chicago Fire, Taniya Nayak of HGTV, and Ryan Gaul of House of Lies.

Stand-up comedians will also be performing throughout the 24-hour time slot and include Tony V, Will Noonan and of course, the Improv Asylum actors themselves. Around 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, Uke Springsteen performs for the audience and prior to that at 11 a.m., there will be a live auction hosted by auctioneer, Jim Wells.

The event goes from Dec. 6 to Dec. 7 from 8p.m. to 8 p.m. and you can still buy tickets on the website here. With this performance going around the clock, we’re pretty sure that everything good (and funny) will be happening after midnight in the North End.
