Survivors, first responders and heroes of the tragic Boston Marathon bombing have departed on an all-expenses paid vacation to the South of France. More than 100 people connected to the dual April 15th explosions will spend 10-days on a cruise along the Southern coast of France, courtesy of a generous partnership with Boston-based Vantage Deluxe World Travel and the One Fund.

This isn’t the first time the two organizations have teamed up to help ease the subsequent pain and suffering for those involved by sending them off to see the sights. Back in November, the tandem sent another “144 Boston Marathon victims, first responders and guests” on a 7-day Rhone River Cruise aboard the ms River Discovery II.

Those attending will enjoy the comforts of an all-inclusive cruise, worth what local source The Bolton Common notes is valued at $364,000.

The cohort of people distinguished for their courage and noble actions during the Marathon’s confounding aftermath departed Logan International Airport in East Boston Wednesday night. They will commence their cruise on Thursday.

“It’s amazing, you know,” one passenger, Jeff Bauman, told CBS Local Boston. “I just thank them as much as I can and I just want them to know that it helps. It helps to know that people care a lot. It’s sweet. Thank you very much.”
