Sure, it’s cold outside, but that doesn’t mean you should spend a Friday night during the holidays all cooped up in your house. Save that for a snowy weekend in our (very soon) future. Given that tonight’s forecast is crystal clear with a chance of holiday spirit (ho ho hokey), there’s absolutely no excuse for sitting around – especially before and after midnight.

Instead, we recommend heading to the Boston Waterfront where you can catch The Boston Babydolls’ holiday show, Brrrlesque. Perfect for those looking for a laugh, this rather risque performance at Laugh Boston is sure to provide you with your fill of Friday night entertainment.

The show will feature a variety of performances from the multi-talented dancers. The producer and master of ceremonies, Ol’ Scratch, stated in a release that the show is “a mix of genuine joy and the sort of stuffy traditions we live to poke fun at. The holidays, with all the running around and family commitments can be very stressful, and we think a Boston Babydolls’ show is a great way to blow off some of that tension.”

And if you’re unfamiliar with The Boston Babydolls – here’s a sneak preview of what you can expect: Miss Mina, a sophisticated stripteaser who is described as “putting the spice in your cider”; Betty Blaize, a six-foot tall “glamorous Amazon”; the delicate Devora Darling, who apparently “uses her ballet background to create striptease en pointe”; Brigitte Bisoux, “who both taps and teases”; and Stella Diamond, a triple-threat of singer, dancer and comedienne.

The Laugh Boston holiday show will certainly sass up your Friday night. And afterwards, I recommend keeping the night going at nearby restaurant and bar, Gather, which is open until 1 a.m. Tickets for the show are $20.00 and $35.00 online.
