The unseasonably warm weather (or blip in temps as I call it) is certainly not something to complain about – especially after last weekend’s snowstorm. But even though the outdoors doesn’t feel anything like a Boston Christmas at the moment, rest assured that this warm weather will probably move on soon enough. So we might as well enjoy it while we still can.

And there’s no better way to spend your Sunday morning than sauntering along Boston’s Harbor Walk in the North End where you can knock exercise, brunch and ice skating off your to-do list at once. Not only can you sit by an outdoor firepit and have an energizing brunch along the harbor at Aragosta Bar and Bistro, but afterwards you can continue the walk around the harbor until you reach the ice skating rink under Rowes Wharf rotunda. Truly a win/win Sunday morning this winter.

It’s Tipsy Time — Here are the Brunch Buzz Deets

When

Aragosta’s brunch begins at 10:30 a.m. and lasts until 2:30 p.m.

Where

Located along Boston’s Harbor Walk in the North End at the Fairmont Battery Wharf, this brunch spot is tucked away from the busy North End streets. Exact location is 377 Commercial Street, Boston.

What to Eat

Where do I even begin? The last time I ate brunch at Aragosta I didn’t know what to order only because everything on the menu looked so delish. If you’re craving a savory breakfast, I recommend ordering Aragosta’s stuffed chive crepe with Gruyere cheese, grilled ham and scrambled eggs. Or if you’re looking to indulge your sweet tooth, then you absolutely have to order their blueberry muffin french toast. Served with Vermont maple syrup and blueberry sauce, the french toast tastes as delicious as it sounds.

The Brunch Buzz Drink

At Aragosta, you’ll have a choice between the classic mimosa, bloody Mary, or bloody Caesar. In true brunch buzz fashion, I’m going to recommend the bloody Caesar drink – an interesting twist on the classic bloody mary. If you can land a spot near Aragosta’s outdoor fire pit, you’ll also be able to order off of a separate drink menu which includes, whiskey warmers and spiked hot chocolate. Yum. Best of luck with your brunch buzz decision – considering everything on the menu sounds amazing, it won’t be an easy one.
