“Got nothing but time,” said no young Boston professional, ever. Let’s face it – time is precious and time is money. And, I’m sad to say that when it comes to lunch, “Ain’t no one got time for that.” Until now.

Chef Bill Brodsky of City Landing Restaurant is serving up a quick “Express Lunch” for the busy-bodies in town, perfect for your much-needed break – and those looking for a power lunch with a punch.

The restaurant, located on Boston’s Waterfront, offers up a contemporary menu and cozy atmosphere. The Express Lunch, which was recently named one of the “Top 10 Power Lunch Restaurants” by Worth magazine, is available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It consists of a starter, an entree, and City Landing’s signature Blondie (the best) “to go” – all for only $24.

And trust us – this meal will certainly beat that smushed PB&J sandwich you have waiting for you on your desk. You can choose from appetizers like their Curried Mussel-Pumpkin Bisque or a Caesar Salad. Some of the mouthwatering entrees include Mushroom Risotto, Lamb Bolognese and even a Buffalo Meatloaf – wowwy.

Not your typical work lunch – but a power lunch, nonetheless. So next time you’re tempted to skip your break and eat that sad desk salad – just say no. Because when it comes to City Landing’s Express Lunch, you definitely have time for that.
