With the temps outside dropping to a frigid 3 degrees, there’s only one thing you can do (read: should do). And that’s treat yourself to a warm mug of hot chocolate – spiked, of course.

And as easy as it is to just empty your leftover Baileys into a nearby mug of Swiss Miss, there is (believe it or not) a better spiked hot chocolate option out there. The “Nutty Snowman” cocktail that you can find in Boston or make for yourself right at home.

Alright – for those of you looking to brave the cold (and possible snow this weekend), you won’t need to look any further than Cask ‘n Flagon in Fenway. The bar has already been lauded for its surprisingly sophisticated cocktail selection (who knew?). But this drink takes the cake when it comes to sweet, wintery cocktails. The “Nutty Snowman” – complete with Frangelico and hot chocolate – will only cost you $7.25.

Make It:

And of course, if you’re not quite in the mood to hit up the town (hello, pajamas), here’s the super easy recipe to keep you toasty warm this weekend.

3/4 oz Gozio Amaretto

7 oz hot chocolate

Garnish: whipped cream & cherry
